The Ultra Hide Saddle Tree.
See below the results of the testing of our Ultra Hide saddle tree before we put the Saddle Tree into our production.
As you can see 575 Kg of direct downward pressure was required on each stirrup bar before any separation occurred.
This test was carried out by the Engineering Department at the University of Southern Queensland Toowoomba Australia.

UltraHide 70/30. A unique product to replace RawHide, a product that replaces the excellent strength and flexibility of natural animal hide.
The Custom Built wooden tree is sprayed with a coating of Ultra Hide that is as thick as Rawhide and mimick rawhide in every possible way and also makes the tree waterproof. The new advanced formula allows Saddle Makers to work on the tree with standard leatherwork tools.
The New Advanced formula is sprayed onto the saddle tree at 180 degrees and at a pressure of 1200 PSI with highly specialized equipment. This product has a tensile strength of 3300 PSI, it is no wonder that saddle makers are turning to this new material.
